Information about GRE (Graduate Record Examinations)
- More than 3,200 graduate schools and business schools use this esteemed test, to choose the candidates who are competent enough to survive and succeed in rigorous graduate level work.
- GRE test is administered in two formats – Paper Based Test or PBT and Computer Based Test or CBT. PBT is held only three times a year in areas where CBT is not there and CBT is held throughout the year in many test centers.
- A candidate can appear for GRE only once every month and no more than five times in a year even if scores are cancelled by the candidate.
- In keeping with its global standards GRE is administered in 230 countries and in thousands of locations.
- The validity period of GRE score is five years. But it is advisable to use scores not more than two years old.
